Crypt. This is my comic; it's been a year and a half in the making from the concept to the thing that it is now (and it's still being worked).
I've been reading cyber comics for about two years now and being an artist myself, I wanted to do one. But I didn't have an original idea to work from, too many gaming comics out there, I'm not in college anymore so I can't base it off my friends, and though fantasy comics are out there, I didn't have a story of my own that would work. So, I basically entertained myself by waiting for the comic updates and thought nothing more about my comic... well, not much anyway.
During the summer of 2001, I had borrowed my friend's N64 and was playing Legend of Zelda: Ocrina of Time and also reading J.R.R Tolkien's Fellowship of the Ring. I'm a night reader (reading before I turn out my light for sleep) and I usually have a snack of cheese whiz and toast while reading (it's good!).
Anyway, I don't know where I was in the game... or where I was in the book, but I had a dream that was definately inspired by both fun things. It was a pretty cool idea. (Thank you, oh, great cheese whiz!)
Then, for whatever reason, I was talking to my friend CyberCat on ICQ about dreams and I told her about this dream that I had. She told me that this would make a cool Role Playing Game. I got the idea to make it into a comic... so I did. I had to do a lot of reworking to have it make sense and to actually have an ending, but I finally did it and this is it.
I hope that you all enjoy it as much as I have drawing it and telling it to you. :)
